Overton County UT Extension Office Open House
The University of Tennessee Extension / County Extension Office / 4-H Office will host an open house from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Dec. 11 to allow those in the community to meet the staff. Refreshments will be available.
The open house will be at 317 E. University St., Suite 131, Livingston (in the basement of the old Lady Ann Hospital).
The UT Extension staff seeks to gain a better understanding of programs that would be of interest to the community.
Craft Fair And Market
The Fairview Community Center will host its first Craft Fair and Market from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Dec. 8 at 2230 Hwy 85, Gainesboro.
Handcrafted items, collectibles, new merchandise, homemade candy, cakes, pies and more will be available. Vending space is limited.

Parenting Class
Parent-Child Connection is offering a series of parenting classes. PCC is at no charge and sessions are held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. The class “Understanding Discipline” will be held Dec. 5. For more information, contact 823-6432 or 1-800-635-5199.
United Daughters Of The Confederacy Luncheon

Community Center Board Meeting And Music
The Independence Community Center board meeting will be at 6 p.m., Nov. 29. There will also be music at the center starting at 5 p.m., Dec. 1.
