Elois Clark Windle
Retired
Elois Clark Windle, 86, of Monroe passed away Feb. 20, at Pickett County Care and Rehab. Funeral services were held Feb. 22, in the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Don Maxson officiating. Interment followed in the Wirmingham Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Jimmy Clark, Jack Clark, Ralph Robbins, Tom Windle, Jeff Humble and Adam Henry.
Elois Clark Windle was born Dec. 4, 1923 in Overton County. She was a retired School Teacher of 31 years in Overton County and a member of Monroe Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Nannie Cue Hill Clark; and husband, Bill Windle.
Surviving relatives include her sons, Joe and wife Tina Windle of Pikeville and Alf Windle of Monroe; grandchildren, Carrie and husband Jeff Humble of Pikeville and Kathy Windle and fiancé Adam Henry of Pikeville; and great-grandchildren, Isabell and Kate Humble.

George Warren Morgan
George Warren Morgan, 75, of Hilham passed away Feb. 21, at his residence. Funeral services were held Feb. 24, in the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Danny McCoy, Bro. Mike Ayers and Bro. Clayton Lee officiating. Interment followed in the New Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Matthan Houser, Nathan Reeder, Jared Robertson, Justin Loftis, Jordan Smith, Christopher Morgan, Reggie Reeder and Eddie Whittenburg.
George Warren Morgan was born July 15, 1934 in Jackson County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Fronia Cooper Morgan; brother, U.L. Morgan; half brothers, Alton Morgan, Haskell Morgan, Vestal Morgan and Lester Morgan.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Etta Morgan; sons, Phillip and wife Teresa Morgan and James and wife Sue Morgan; daughters, Sue and husband Devon Reeder and Debbie and husband Ronnie Loftis; grandchildren, Reggie Reeder, Christie Whittenburg, Melissa Reeder, Stephanie Houser, Jodi Smith, Christopher Morgan, Ashley Morgan and Justin Loftis; great-grandchildren, Matthan Houser, Nathan Reeder, Olivia Reeder, Jordan Sidwell, Aubree Whittenburg, Courtney Whittenburg and Paige Whittenburg; brothers, Cooper Morgan, Joe Morgan and Shirley Morgan; and sisters, Rose Lee, Martha Fields, Leola Masters and Unetta Masters.

Willie Alford Glasscock

Willie Alford Glasscock, 81, of Cookeville passed away Feb. 22, at Cookeville Regional Medical Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 24, at Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Disney officiating. Interment followed in the Fellowship Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Kevin Glasscock, Larry Huddleston, William Reeder, Ed Loftis, William Ketterman and Michael Davis.
Willie Alford Glasscock was born Feb. 20, 1929 in Overton County. He was an Upholsterer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Delphia Cecilia Andrews Glasscock; and half brother, Jimmy Neal.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Cuebertice Glasscock of Cookeville; sons, Bill Glasscock of Cookeville and Kim Glasscock of Princeton, WV; daughters, Judy Wharton of Portland; sister, Lena Booher and Melba Bennett both of Cookeville; half-sister, Judy Than; half brothers, Dewroy Neal and Paul Neal both of Carthage; and grandchildren, Amy Davis, Kevin and John Glasscock, Jamie Wharton and Mike Davis.

Marie Norris White Lewis

Marie Norris White Lewis, 88, of Livingston passed away Feb. 18, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 22, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Speck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers include: John Brooks, Sam Brooks, RonnieWinningham, Tim Hammock, Jimmy Hammock and Torey Hess.
Marie Norris White Lewis was born March 6, 1921 in Overton County. She was a Dietician and a member of First Baptist Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.C. Norris and Mary Foncie Smith Norris; husband, Carson White; daughter, Sandy Hammock; sisters, Estelle Hall, Orene Winningham; brothers, Loyd, Fred, Arlie, Cladis, Amon, Banis, Claude and Denton Norris; and granddaughter, Melissa Hammock.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Jack Lewis of Livingston; sons, James, Ralph, Danny and Bruce Lewis, all of Livingston; daughters, Brenda Brooks of Cookeville, Faye Key of Livingston and Ann Pellham of McMinnville; grandchildren, Ronnie and wife Valrie Winningham, Debbie and husband Justice Dale Wainwright, Kim and husband Todd Hess, Sam and wife Tera Brooks, John and wife Kristi Brooks, Jimmy and wife Becky Hammock, Tim Hammock, Karen Key, Ginger Ricketts, Dylan Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Dr. Lori Austin, Brian Lewis, Tania Stephens, Dyan Tyre and Elery Lewis; 15 great-grandchildren; and niece, Bernice Duvall.

Hershel Buttler Smith, 68, of Monroe passed away Feb. 18, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 20, at Livingston Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Cobb officiating. Interment followed in the Winningham Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Gary Smith, Ronnie Smith, Randy Smith, Paul Henry, Tim Henry and Steve Barlow.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Jackie Staggs and Kendrick Melton.
Hershel Buttler Smith was born Sept.17, 1941 in Overton County. He worked most of his life at Overton Farm Supply and was a member of the Winningham Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allard Smith; and daughter, Lisa Smith Davidson.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Betty (Sidwell) Smith of Monroe; son, Joey Smith of McMinnville; mother, Bonza Smith of Monroe; sisters, Stella Holly of Algood and Portia Grissom of Cookeville; four grandchildren; and special friend, Jackie Staggs.

Oscar M. Sevier

Oscar M. Sevier, 90, of Livingston passed away Feb. 24 at, Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 26, at the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Rice officiating. Interment followed in the Hoover Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Darrell Gore, R.L. Johnson, Carvel Winningham, Doug Franklin, Jerry Bell and Harold Gore.
Oscar M. Sevier was born Nov. 13, 1919 in Overton County. He was a carpenter and a member of Allons Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jasper and Lillie Belle Holt Sevier; wife, Jenola Bilbrey Sevier; and sisters, Vela Sevier, Lena Eldridge and Veachel Winningham Johnson.
Surviving relatives include: Son Charles Sevier of Livingston; daughter, Helen and husdand Earl Harris of Livingston; grandchildren, Sharolette Hensley, Dianne Hofflund, Donna Bell, Louis, Denise, Steven and James Alkire and David Sevier; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Cassius Clay Parsons, Jr.

Cassius Clay Parsons, Jr., 83, of Livingston passed away Feb. 24, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 27, at First Baptist Church in Livingston. Interment followed in Overton County Memorial Gardens. Speck Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers include: John Officer, Larry Winningham, Jeff Hammock, Earl Carwile, Larry Mason, M.D., Jim Means, Chig Parrott and Bill Huff.
Cassius Clay Parsons, Jr. was born Aug. 10, 1926 in Overton County. He was with the State of Tennessee Dept. of Health and Environment for 43 years. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Livingston, a charter member of the Overton County Lions Club and served as Director of Overton County and for 14 other counties in the Upper Cumberland Region. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cassius Clay, Sr. and Clydia Lee Vaughn Parsons; wife, Eldrith Carwile Parsons; sister, Karen Tolieson; and brother Bill Parsons.
Surviving relatives include: sons, Sonny and wife Debra Parsons and David and wife Lesa Parsons all of Livingston; grandchildren, Shannon and husband Daryl Depry of Henderson, NV., Casey and wife Dr. Any Parsons of Winston-Salem, NC, Curtis Parsons, Rebekah Sims, and Stuart Parsons, all of Livingston; and six great-grandchildren, Madisyn Sims, Connor Depry, Makynlee Sims, Vayda Depry, Lily Parsons and John Clay Parsons.
