Ricky L. Watkins, 56, of Livingston passed away Dec. 12 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 15 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston Bro. Howard Dailey officiating. Interment followed in Fellowship Cemetery in Allons. He was born Sept. 12, 1957 in Livingston. He is preceded in death by parents Clyde and Ruby Cantrell Watkins; son Jeff Watkins; and sisters Mary Jo Dailey and Brenda Dailey. Surviving relatives include his wife Anna Dean (Sidwell) Watkins; grandsons Brandon Watkins and Skyler Watkins; sisters Jonnie Marie Holman and husband Kenny, Patricia Gore and husband Bobby, Betty Sells and husband Ray, Janie Smith and husband Harold; brothers Jack Watkins and wife Ruth, Earl Watkins and wife Sonja, Billy Ray Watkins and wife Gene, Paul Watkins and wife Linda and Fred Watkins and wife Diane; and brother-in-law Robert Daily. Pallbearers were Dink Watkins, Scott Watkins, Randy Watkins, Justin Watkins, John Ross Watkins and Teddy Ray Watkins.

Evelyn Robbins Newberry, 75, of Greensburg, Ky. and formerly of Overton County, passed away Dec. 14 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Funeral services were held Dec. 20 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Ledbetter and Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Interment followed in Sylvester Robbins Cemetery in Monroe. She was born May 24, 1938 in Overton County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by parents Cliford Edgar and Elean King Robbins and brothers Harold and David Robbins. Surviving relatives include husband Charles Aaron Newberry of Greensburg, Ky.; sons Delane Newberry of Campbellsville, Ky. and Ricky and wife Nickki Newberry of Lenoir City; daughter Carolyn and husband Tommy Money of Glasgow, Ky.; brothers Norman Robbins of Lebanon, Ky., Edgar Robbins of Alpine and Shelly Robbins of Indiana; sisters Wilma Maynord of Livingston, Nancy Ramsey of Rickman and Rita Etheredge of Clarksville; grandchildren, Kim Harrison, Scotty Wright, Tracy Newberry, Jason Newberry, Amanda Roy and Nick Harvey; seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Ethan, Landen, Kaylee, Kaison, Kallan, Gray; and a future granddaughter.

Barbara Ann Reagan Beaty, 71, of Soddy Daisy passed away Dec. 18 in Sumner County. Graveside services were held Dec. 22 at King Cemetery in Fentress County with Bro. David Beaty and L.D. Pewitt officiating. She was born Feb. 23, 1942 in Fentress County. She was a waitress. She is preceded in death by parents Proctor and Opal King Reagan and several brothers and sisters. Surviving relatives include daughters Debra Harding of Hendersonville, Carla Burchard of Soddy Daisy and Teresa Pewitt and husband L.D. of Madison; brothers Mike Reagan, Steve Reagan and Rick Reagan, all of McMinnville; sisters Grace Winningham, Becky Thompson and Jean Reagan, all of Livingston; grandchildren Brandon Harding, Anthony Burchard, Zack Burchard, Kelton Henderson, Keaton Henderson, Jonathan Henderson, Donovan Beaty, Paige Burchard and Hannah Pugh; and a great grandchild, Levi Burchard.

David P. Conner, 47, of the Pleasant Hill Community of Allons passed away Dec. 18 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 21 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Randy Pickens officiating. Interment followed in the Martin Cemetery in Allons. David P. Conner was born Dec. 10, 1966 in Overton County. He was a farmer and was affiliated with the Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Jack Conner; grandparents Wilbur and Agnes Nelson and Veachel and Hattie Conner; and aunts Judy Harris, Jean Hensley, Louise Sells, and Janice Sells. Surviving relatives include his mother Joan Nelson Conner of the Pleasant Hill Community of Allons; brothers Shannon Conner of the Pleasant Hill Community and Mark Conner of Cookeville; sister Shelia Reagan and husband Doug of Allons; special friend Tracy Coleman of Livingston; nieces Savannah and Jillian Reagan of Allons; aunt Kathy Pealer of Allons; uncles Donnie and Roger Nelson of Allons; and several cousins. Virginia M. Goolsby, 82, passed away Dec. 17 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tenn. Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Virginia M. Goolsby was born July 1, 1931 in Jackson County, Tenn. She was retired from Model Laundry and was affiliated with the Union Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Cecil Goolsby; one son Wesley Claude Goolsby; parents Bailey and Rhoda Young Pippin; one brother James Pippin and one sister Mildred Thompson. Surviving relatives include one son Jerry Goolsby of Bloomington Springs, Tenn.; two granddaughters Rachel Moen of Cookeville, Tenn. and Rhoda Mull of Livingston, Tenn.; six great grandchildren Rachel Randolph, Cecilia Goolsby, Gabriel Moen, Freedom Moen, Dakota Mull and Hunter Mull; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Philip Trejo, 49, of Hilham passed away Nov. 30 at his residence. Memorial services were held Dec. 3 at the Living Word Ministries in Burkesville, Ky with Pastor Dana Coverstone officiating. Philip Trejo was born Dec. 8, 1963 in Michigan. He was a member of the Living Word Ministries Church in Burkesville, Ky and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Faye (Murphy) Trejo; and brother Charles Trejo. Surviving relatives include wife Kaylee Trejo of Hilham; son Nicholas Trejo of Seymour, Ind., daughters Ariana Trejo, Maria Perez, Cheyenne Trejo all of Seymour, Ind; granddaughter Naima Rocha of Seymour, Ind; ex-wife Lynda Trejo of Seymour, Ind; sisters Lola Griffith, Mary Trejo, Sue Garza, Jerry Trejo and Eva Cavazo; and brothers Richard Trejo, James Trejo and Junior Trejo.
