Christmas In The Country has been scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13 on the square in Livingston.

Christmas Parade Scheduled For Dec. 14

Millard OakleyPublic Library To Hold Story Time Dec. 12
On Thursday, Dec. 12 the Millard Oakley Public Library will have preschool story time at 10:15 a.m.

“In God We Trust” Fund Established
An “In God We Trust” fund has been set up in order to install “In God We Trust” on the Courthouse in Livingston.If you would like to support this project, please bring donations to Union Bank & Trust in Livingston or Rickman and ask the funds be placed in the “In God We Trust” fund. Letters on the courthouse will be made from aluminum and will be 12” tall and a gold/bronze color.

Adult Relative Support Meetings Set

Adult relative support group meetings are held every third Tuesday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., at the First Christian Church at 320 Oakley Street, Livingston, TN. For housing assistance while caring for relative child, contact Myra Walker at 931-432-4111.

Narcotics Anonymous Scheduled To Meet
Narcotics Anonymous meets Tuesdays and Fridays at 7 p.m. at United Methodist Church on Main St., Livingston. Everyone is welcome.

School Board To Meet Dec. 10
The Overton County Board of Education will meet in regular session today, Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Central Education Office as directed by Mike Hayes, chairman. The board meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with the work session immediately following.

Friends Of Library To Meet Dec. 12
Friends of the Library will meet at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Millard Oakley Library.

Santa To Appear At Millard Oakley Library
Santa will be on hand Friday, Dev. 13 at the Millard Oakley Library for pictures. The Merchants Association is sponsoring the event.

Boles Benefit Scheduled For Dec. 14

Benefit For Maxfield Family Set For Dec. 13

Dailey’s Market To Host Toy Drive For Livingston Jaycees
Daily’s Market will be hosting their 2nd annual Toy Drive to benefit the Livingston Jaycees on Saturday, Dec. 14. Unwrapped toy donations will be accepted as well as cash donations to purchase toys for underprivileged children. In addition, Santa Claus will be arriving at the store after the parade finishes right around 2 p.m. and will be there until 4 p.m. Daily’s Market is located at 915 E. Main St., Livingston.
