Sarah Evelyn (Abney) Bailey
Sarah Evelyn (Abney) Bailey, 97, of Celina passed away Nov. 16 at Cumberland River Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 18 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Interment followed in Bailey Cemetery.
Sarah Evelyn (Abney) Bailey was born Jan. 23, 1916 in Celina. She was a homemaker and a member of Butler’s Landing Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by parents Willie Thomas and Lou (Garrett) Abney; husband Willie Fred “Paddle” Bailey; brothers Bob, Butler, Clyde, Fred, George, Jim and John Abney; sisters Ethel Pennington and Fannie Butler; and infant sisters Katie and Bessie Abney.
Surviving relatives include sons Thomas Bennett and wife Joyce Bailey, of Avon, Ind., Joe Donald Bailey, of Celina, L. Ray Bailey and wife Virginia, of Cookeville; daughter Frances Tayse and husband Jim, of Carlisle, Ohio; grandchildren Joey Bailey, Nicole Dixon, Janet Bailey, Jeffery Bailey, Chris Tayse, Amanda Laughlin and Mark Bailey; and great grandchildren Sarah Minton, Raegan Bailey, Brenden Southland and Dustin Laughlin.
Hubert Lee Dulworth, Sr.
Hubert Lee Dulworth, Sr., 87, of Gainesboro passed away Nov. 16 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 17 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Phillips officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery.
Hubert Lee Dulwroth, Sr. was born July 8, 1926 in Celina. He was a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by parents Joe and Rosetta (Jackson) Dulworth; wife Hettie Dulworth; ex-wife Vianne Dulworth; son Tommy Dulworth; brothers Lyodd, Frank and Malcolm Dulworth; and sisters Lena Reagan, Stella Cox and Annie Dulworth.
Surviving relatives include sons Hubert Lee Dulworth, Jr., Mickey Dulworth and Richard Dulworth; daughters Judy Roberts, Debbie Carter and Peggy Elliott; sister Heuster Reagan; brothers Orden and Jr. Dulworth; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Carl Dulworth, Derek Dulworth, Ben Barlow, Richard Dulworth and Jimmy Edmonds.
Lonnie Lee Pryor
Lonnie Lee Pryor, 81, of Red Boiling Springs passed away Nov. 13 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. Funeral services were held Nov. 16 from Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with E.C. Meadows officiating. Interment followed in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Lonnie Lee Pryor was born April 21, 1932 in Decatur County, Ind. He was a factory worker for General Motors in Anderson, Ind. with 36 years of service. He was a very kind and caring man.
He was preceded in death by parents Alonzo and Ida Anderson Pryor; first wife Janie Darling Pryor; and stepson Steve West.
Surviving relatives include wife Ona Bilbrey Pryor; son and daughter-in-law Mendel Pryor and wife Debbie, of Shirley, Ind., daughters and sons-in-law Glenda Browning and husband Duane, of Red Boiling Springs, Diana Scott and husband Bart, of Cambridge City, Ind., Barbara Neal and husband Gary, of Shirley, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Chris Pryor, Andy Pryor, John Pryor, Jon Browning, Marshall Browning and Kelly Neal.
Charles Ray Morgan
Charles Ray Morgan, 69, of Red Boiling Springs passed away Nov. 14 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were held Nov. 17 from Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Jimmy Cook officiating. Interment followed in Whitley Cemetery.
Charles Ray Morgan was born April 25, 1944 in Jackson County. He was a logger, truck driver and a Vietnam veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents Charlie and Susie Hix Morgan; sister Zelma Gentry; brother Windel Morgan; brothers-in-law Duane Wright and Donald Gentry; niece Sue Gentry; and nephews Jimmy Morgan, Barry Wright and Brian Wright.
Surviving relatives include sons and daughters-in-law Tim Morgan and wife Shirley, of Hartsville, Tony Morgan and Stephanie, of Hartsville; sister Dean Wright of Red Boiling Springs; brother Willard Morgan and wife Imojean, of the Leonard Community; grandchildren Chelsea Morgan, Dewayne Morgan, Justin Morgan, Elizabeth Sartor and Jessica Sartor; and great-grandchildren Bryson Morgan, Brayden Morgan, Braylea Morgan, Braylon Morgan, Gavin Sartor and Bayleigh Sartor, all of Hartsville; nieces Linda Williams and husband Kenny, Lynn Carnahan and husband T.C; nephews Danny Gentry and wife Becky, Ronnie Morgan, Mikey Morgan, all of Red Boiling Springs; and caregivers Deanna and Anthony.

Louvenia Rush Gentry
Louvenia Rush Gentry, 92, of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County passed away Nov. 16 at her residence. Funeral services were held Nov. 18 from Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Roy Henson and Rick Mosley officiating. Interment followed in Browning Cemetery.
Louvenia Rush Gentry was born Dec. 23, 1920 in Clay County. She was a graduate of Hermitage Springs High School and worked in Louisville, Ky. during World War II. She was a homemaker and a member of Leonard Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother, loving wife and friend to all of her seven children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cyrus Hayden and Mary Lou Loftis Rush; husband George Donald Gentry; son Ercil Gentry; brother Cyrus Hayden Rush, Jr., sister Brilla Cherry; and several half brothers and sisters.
Surviving relatives include daughters and sons-in-law Geraldine Jones and husband Jeff, of Mt. Juliet, Gayle Mosley and husband Rick of Nashville, Veachel King and husband Charles of Hermitage Springs, Sheila Rouse, of Hermitage Springs, Lesia Key and husband Keith,of Carthage; son George Danny Gentry and his companion Lucille Carlisle, of Hermitage Springs; daughter-in-law Sandra Gentry, of Moss; grandchildren Marvin Chaffin, Teresa Santana, Donald Chaffin, Rachel Mosley, Michael King, Megan Chandler, Amy O’Neal, Kristofer Strong, Pamela Koffman, Kevin Reece, Katie Reece; and great-grandchildren Barry, Bradley, Tasha, Ryan, D.J., Kaylee, Colton, Caleb, Elliott, Rylan, Colin, Hayden and Landon.
