“In God We Trust” Fund Established
An “In God We Trust” fund has been set up in order to install “In God We Trust” on the courthouse in Livingston. If you would like to support this project, please bring donations to Union Bank & Trust in Livingston or Rickman and ask the funds be placed in the “In God We Trust” fund. For more information, call Jim Clark at 931-510-1544 or W.B. Melton at 931-823-6662. Letters on courthouse will be made from aluminum and will be 12” tall and a gold/bronze color.
Adult Relative Support Meetings Offered
Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? Adult relative support group meetings are held every third Tuesday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., at the First Christian Church at 320 Oakley Street, Livingston. Free Medicare Part D Help
SHIP Representatives from the Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability will be at the Millard Oakley Library in Livingston from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Nov. 25 to help counsel on Medicare Part D plans, as well as Medicare Advantage Plans for 2014. Call SHIP at 1-877-801-0044 for an appointment. The annual enrollment period for 2014 is from Oct. 15 until Dec. 7.

Santa To Appear At Library
Santa is scheduled to appear at the Millard Oakley Public Library from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6.
Commodities Distribution Set
The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Overton County on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hanging Limb Community Center. Everyone must present a valid UCHRA commodity card in order to receive commodities.
Centers To Close For Thanksgiving
All Overton County Convenience Centers will be closed Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

City Garbage Routes To Change In Observance Of Holiday
Garbage routes in the town of Livingston will temporarily change in order for the city to observe Thanksgiving. Trash will not be picked up on Nov. 28 or Nov. 29. Thursday’s trash route will be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 27 along with Wednesday’s usual route. Friday’s route will be picked up on Monday, Dec. 2 along with Monday’s usual route.
American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 1-5 p.m. in the conference room of the Overton County Chamber of Commerce. You can schedule your appointment today, use the code Livingston19 to schedule your appointment online at redcrossblood.org.

Reindeer Stampede 5K To Be Held
