Ronnie “Runt” Dailey

Ronnie “Runt” Dailey, 61, of Celina passed away Nov. 3 at Cumberland River Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 7 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Bro. David Threet officiating. Interment followed in Fellowship Cemetery.

Ronnie “Runt” Dailey was born on May 12, 1952 in the Swan Ridge Community of Clay County. He worked for the City of Celina in the Sanitation Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Wesley and Delpha (Johnson) Dailey.

Surviving relatives include wife Tammy R. Blakely Dailey; son Mark Allen Dailey; sisters Mildred Short and husband Shelby, Mary Ellis and Vertie Dailey; brother Carlos Wayne Dailey; half-sister Hallie Burchett; and several nieces and nephews.

James Walker Davis
Farmer

James Walker Davis, 79, of Celina passed away Oct. 16 at Cumberland River Hospital. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at Upton Funeral Home. Interment followed in James W. Davis Family Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community of Clay County.

James Walker Davis was born Dec. 14, 1933 in Clay County. He was a farmer and a member of Rock Springs Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Bedford and Lora Lee (Stone) Davis; brothers Paul Henry, Bedford Arnold and Frank Matthew Davis; sisters Fannie Olyne Jones, Opal Adeniza Boone, Nina Elise Davis and Betty Jean Davis.

Surviving relatives include wife Bonnie (Tinsley) Davis of Celina; son Travis Davis and wife Mickie of Hilham; daughters Debra Jean Craighead and husband Robert of Moss, Tammie Jeanette Robbins of Celina; brother Andrew Thomas Davis and wife Joyce of Celina; and grandchildren Kayla Denise Davis, James Travis Davis Jr., Joshua Creighton Davis, James Matthew Craighead and wife Amanda, Bonnie Jo Craighead and Lora Katherine Robbins.

Pallbearers were Kayla Davis, Junior Davis, Matt Craighead, Bonnie Jo Craighead, Amanda Craighead and Lora Robbins.

J. D. Key
Farmer

J. D. Key, 74, of Mt. Vernon Community in Clay County passed away Nov. 5 at his residence. Funeral services were held Nov. 8 from  Anderson & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Red Boiling Springs with Tim McHenry officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

J. D. Key was born June 8, 1939 in Clay County. He was a farmer and member of  Mt. Gilead Church of Christ in Tompkinsville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents Anderson and Lucie Comstock Key; wife Laura Maddux Key; son J. D. Key Jr.; daughter Janet Key; granddaughter Dawn Duke; sisters Baxter Bane and Shirley Key; and brother Willie C. Key.

Surviving relatives include sons Wade Key of Logansville, Ga., Jamie Key of Indianapolis, Ind., Jay Key of Red Boiling Springs, Joshua Key of Mt. Vernon Community; brothers and sister-in-law A. D. Key and wife Shirley of Lebanon, Gerald (Judd) Key and wife Emily of Carthage; sisters Bonnie McCormick of Lebanon, Diane Langeley of Coats, N.C.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers were James “Buddy” Likens, Joe Roberts, Kenneth Birdwell, Roy Reecer, Bob Proffitt and Junior Buford.

Active pallbearers were his family.
