The Livingston Exchange Club will host its annual Fall Fashion Show at Livingston Academy at 2 p.m. Sept. 15. Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing from local merchants will be featured, as well as flowers from local florists. Proceeds benefit the Stephens Center. Mayor and Board
of Alderman To Meet
The regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Alderman will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9 at Livingston City Hall because of the Labor Day holiday.
The Monroe School Reunion will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Monroe Christian Church. Students who attended Jaybird, Independence, Bethsaida, Rocky Ridge, Wirmingham, Forks of Creek and Oakdale are welcome.
Need your GED or high school diploma? The Overton County Adult Education staff would like to help you achieve this goal. Interested persons should contact the Adult Education Office at 931-823-7761. The program offers a variety of services. All program services are free of charge. Unemployed individuals may qualify to take the GED test free of charge.
