Palace Sponsors Fibromyalgia Support Group
The monthly Fibromyalgia Support Group will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at the Macon County Welcome Center in Lafayette. Guest speaker for this month is Janet Skelton, registered dietician with Macon County General Hospital. This is a community service program sponsored by Palace Care and Rehab of Red Boiling Springs. Dale Hollow Rural Planning Meeting Scheduled
The Dale Hollow Rural Planning Organization (RPO) joint meeting of the Executive Board and Technical Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 20 at the Clarion Inn, 970 South Jefferson Avenue, Cookeville.
The Dale Hollow RPO is responsible for the comprehensive transportation planning for Clay, Fentress, Jackson, Macon, Overton, Pickett and Smith counties.

NARFEA Monthly Meeting Scheduled
The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, Chapter 1956, will have its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 19, at the Shoney’s Restaurant on S. Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville. The meal begins at 6 p.m., with the meeting at 6:45 p.m. The speaker this month will be Clay Roberson, of the Putnam County Library. I’m sure this will be a very interesting program. Youth Football League Meeting Scheduled

Poems Wanted
Poetryfest is sponsoring a poetry contest free to everyone. There are 100 prizes in all, and the $1,000 grand prize goes to the last poet standing. Senior Class Musical
The CCHS Senior Class will be having a musical, March 23 at 6 p.m. at the Women’s Center below the bridge. The money raised will go for the Senior Lock In. Tickets are on sale and are available before and at the musical. Please come out and support your graduating class.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt at Standing Stone State Park on March 30 at 1 p.m. Bring your own Easter basket.
