Henry P. Pippin, 77, passed away March 3 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville. Funeral services were held March 6 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Wilmoth and Rev. Billy Haney officiating. Interment followed at John Young Cemetery.
Henry P. Pippin was born March 28, 1935 in Jackson County. He was a maintenance worker at Jackson County High School and a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tom C. Pippin and Zella D. Chaffin Pippin; son Roger Lynn Pippin; and sister Linda Wade.
Surviving relatives include his wife Lora Clinton Pippin; sons Steve and wife Rhonda Pippin and Scottie Pippin; daughters Tammy Pippin and Tina Netherton; brothers Johnny and wife Jewell Pippin, Dewey C. and wife Nancy Pippin and Roy and wife Vicky Pippin; grandchildren Jamie, Jacqulyn, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, Stephen, Samantha, Patrick, Lora, Ashley, Rick, Chris, Cayla, Justin, Briley, Brooke and Karleigh and 22 great grandchildren.

James Fletcher, 69, passed away March 4 in Murfreesboro. Graveside services and interment were held March 5 from the Draper Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Burton officiating.
James Fletcher was born on Aug. 13, 1943 in Kenton County, KY. He was employed by United Airlines as an airline mechanic for 36 years until retirement in 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Harrison Fletcher and Mattie Smallwood Fletcher and sister Kimberley Fletcher Bajwa.
Surviving relatives include children Greg Fletcher, Derrick Fletcher, Jett and wife Tracey Fletcher, Shannon Fletcher (Janette), Karrena Fletcher and Michelle and husband Tobin Leslie; sisters Mildred and husband Billy Rose, Ellen and husband Jim Bal, Ruby and husband Jimmy Malott and Catherine and husband Frank Roth; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

James Louis Hamlet was born July 10, 1955 in Jackson County. He worked in construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis Elmer Hamlet and Katherine Craighead Allen and wife Betty Ann Stafford Hamlet.
Surviving relatives include sons Jimmy Owen Hamlet and David Gene Hamlet; and grandchildren Kaia Dawn Hamlet, Coby Hamlet and McKenzie Hamlet.

James W. Murray was born Oct. 18, 1936 in Jackson County. He was a retired custodian at Baxter Elementary.
He was preceded in death by his parents David Dudley Murray and Cora Bell Haney Murray; wife Lois Cronk Murray; son James Richard “Jimmy” Murray; and grandson Christopher Murray.
Surviving relatives include daughters Vickie and husband Johnny Mayberry, Patricia and husband Randal Stafford and Lisa and husband David “Tony” Branson; sister Elowese Sherfield; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Loyd Taylor Kendall, 75, passed away March 5 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial services were held March 9 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
Loyd Taylor Kendall was born March 17, 1937 in Granville. He was an appliance business owner and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents William A. Kendall and Mary Emma Kendall; and daughter Brenda Gambrell.
Surviving relatives include his wife Martha Morphis Kendall; sons David Glen and wife Rita Kendall and Floyd James and wife Terrie Kendall; daughter Barbara Jane Kendall; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Ezra Oral Taylor, 76, passed away March 2 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held March 4 in the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Dewey Glen Masters officiating. Interment followed in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Ezra Oral Taylor was born July 21, 1936 in Overton Co. He was a self-employed laborer.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Rosa Edmonds Taylor; and wife Robbie Taylor.
Surviving relatives include brothers Gary Taylor, Jimmy Taylor and Kenneth Taylor; sisters Bernice Ramsey, Judy Lankford, Faye Scantland and Ann Lynn; and step-grandsons Mike and Terry Autrey.
