Roadblocks Scheduled

There will be roadblocks enacted by the Overton County Sheriff’s Department on Feb. 23 at the following locations: Hanging Limb and Muddy Pond Road from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.; Dry Hollow Market and Monterey Highway from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.; and Rickman Highway and Pennington Market from 8 p.m. until 9 p.m.

United Daughters Meeting

The United Daughters of the Confederacy Captain Sally Tompkins 2123 will meet March 6 at noon in the upper level of the Putnam County Library. Contact 738-5869 if you have a Confederate ancestor or have further questions.

OCADC Meeting

The next regular meeting of the Overton County Anti Drug Coalition will be Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. in the conference room at Bank of Overton County.

Parenting Class

Teen Advisory Board

The Teen Advisory Board meets the first Monday of each month from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Millard Oakley Public Library. The first Monday of next month is March 4.

Yard Sale

The Good Samaritan Center will have a yard sale at 213 W. Broad St. on Feb. 21 and 22 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Feb. 23 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
