UCHRA Commodities Distribution

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Hanging Limb Community Center in Hanging Limb. A valid UCHRA commodity card must be presented in order to receive commodities.

The USDA’s Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program is available to all eligible recipients regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap.

Quik Stop Anniversary / Customer Service Celebration

The Livingston Quik Stop will celebrate 10 years of service and customer appreciation from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Feb. 2 with food and door prizes.

Parenting Class

Storytime Cancellation

Storytime at the Millard Oakley Public Library for Jan. 31 has been cancelled due to inventory.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

The Teen Advisory Board will hold a meeting from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Feb. 4 at the Millard Oakley Public Library to plan teen events, discuss books and to participate in arts and crafts activities.

Book Club

The Millard Oakley Public Library will host a book club event at 11 a.m. on Feb. 5.

Head Start Policy Council Meeting

The L.B.J. & C. Head Start Policy Council will hold its monthly meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation, located at 1150 Chocolate Dr., Cookeville.

County Commission

There will not be a County Commission meeting in the month of February.
