Sunday Golf Scramble
The Overton County Lions Club will hold a Ted Poston Memorial 2008 Sunday Golf Scramble on May 18 at the Hidden Valley Golf Club starting at 1 p.m. There will be prize money for first, second and third place. Alzheimer’s Support Group Meeting

Library Board Meeting
The next regularly schedule Millard Oakley Public Library Board meeting will be Tuesday, May 20 at 5 p.m. at the Library.  Everyone is invited. 

TTCL Practical Nursing Application
The Tennessee Technology Center in Livingston will be accepting applications for the Fall 2008 Practical Nursing Class May 19 through May 23. The Fall Class begins Aug. 28. The 12-month program is designed to meet the needs of education programs for members of the nursing team employed in hospitals, nursing homes, home health care, and other health care facilities. The program will prepare students to take the state board examination to become a licensed practical nurse. All classroom work will be completed on the campus of the TTC at Livingston. Clinical rotation will be at various locations. Applications may be picked up at the Tennessee Technology Center at Livingston or online at www.ttclivingston.edu.
