Missing Teen Turns Himself In To Police

Dyllan Maxwell, 17, who had been missing for about a month, contacted his mother Tuesday, March 5 after his picture was published in the Livingston Enterprise. Maxwell told his mother of his whereabouts and she went and picked him up. Maxwell was reportedly in good health when he was found. He turned himself into the Overton County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Division last week.

The division focused their search in the Cookeville area due to the fact Maxwell had friends in the area.

After seeing their friend in the paper or on a web page, Maxwell was contacted and he decided to turn himself in.

Along with being in the newspaper, Maxwell was listed onto the TBI’s Missing Children web page and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s web page.
