Traffic Stops Lead To Drug Arrests

Two routine traffic stops by Overton County sheriff’s deputies have led to drug charges being brought against two individuals.

The first incident occurred on Friday when Deputy Jon Frazier observed a Dodge Dakota leaving the Dollar General in Rickman and recognized the driver as David Allen Cope, 44, of Livingston. A records check showed that Cope’s license was suspended, so Frazier pulled the vehicle over.
