The Overton County Adult Education Office offers a variety of services and programs to help adults achieve their educational goals. All programs and services are free of charge. Adult Relative Support Group And Housing Assistance
Adult relative support group meetings are held every third Tuesday from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at First Christian Church in Livingston.

School Board Meeting
The Overton County Board of Education will meet Tuesday, March 12. An open door work session will begin at 6 p.m. with a meeting to follow.
Hero Award Nominations Deadline
The Fifth Annual Upper Cumberland Vulnerable Adult Summit will be held May 17 at the Miracle Road campus of the River Community Church.
As part of the event, the Upper Cumberland Adult Abuse Coalition presents the annual HERO award to an organization or individual that strives to prevent and combat adult abuse. To submit a nomination, send a narrative outlining why you feel the organization or individual should receive this year’s award. Email nominations to Dawnna Dawson at firstname.lastname@example.org by March 15.

Movie At The Library
The Millard Oakley Public library will host the movie “Wreck-It Ralph” at 6 p.m., March 9.

There will be a Lunch Break class at noon on March 7 at the Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce in Livingston. The course is free of charge and aimed to educate about nutritional eating habits.

Dale Hollow RPO Meeting Scheduled
The Dale Hollow Rural Planning Organization (RPO) joint meeting of the Executive Board and Technical Committee meeting will be held on March 20 at the Clarion Inn, 970 South Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville. Tennessee Rush Basketball Club Accepting Donations
The Tennessee Rush Basketball Club is currently accepting donations. The organization is a nonprofit providing competitive basketball to girls and boys who wish to improve their skills.
